You can adjust the shelves in both compartments for a custom storage solution. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS is attractive. The LED lighting adds a nice accent. The bins for storage inside have a third shelf which can be folded down to store large items. The drawers come with temperature controls that allow you to set them to Meat, Beverage, or Deli settings. The drawers are simple to open and close, but I found the textured plastic coatings a bit hard on my fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator has all the features you would expect from a refrigerator in this price range. It has Wi-Fi as well as app support, and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app, which is available for iOS and Android devices, lets you control your fridge from anywhere in world, and it has numerous options for customization. It also sends you notifications when the door is left unlocked and when the freezer or fridge needs to be defrosted, and when the filter needs to be changed.

It would be nice to have GE PYE22PYNFS could offer Precise Fill the option that is that is available in a few GE refrigerators that allows users to set how many cups they want to pour out. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge is built with an ordinary French door layout, with two rows of shelves that can be used to capture spills and a set of crisper drawers. The top shelf on the right can be folded down to give taller items more room. There's also a full-width deli drawer and an internal water dispenser.

This refrigerator has a freezer with an ice maker, making it easy to move the frozen ice as needed. The freezer features thoughtful design elements, too, like sliding drawers that can help you to organize the place of items. It also has a huge bin that holds plenty of frozen food items as well as an additional container for storing ice.

Smart InstaView panel is a cool feature of the refrigerator. It lets you manage the refrigerator's temperature as well as lighting using your smartphone. It's an easy way to keep track of your refrigerator and manage it, especially when away from home.

The Smart InstaView feature is neat, but it doesn't necessarily enhance the efficiency of the fridge. The fridge took a bit longer to defrost food and chill it than the other fridges we tried. This is probably due to its greater capacity.

The other issue we have with the door of this refrigerator. They have sunken handles on the front, which allow shorter people to easily pull them open from the bottom, however they're not easy for taller people to pull shut without slamming them. It would have been better if they came with a front-mounted handle.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent option for those who want to combine the aesthetics of a French-door refrigerator with more efficient design. It has a capacity that is above average for counter-depth models and is able to cool evenly. It's also a little less than the top counter depth refrigerator with an ice maker, which makes it a great option.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

If you're looking for a French door refrigerator that won't cost a fortune this Frigidaire is a good choice. It's a basic fridge which may not be as eye-catching as its rivals however it has enough features to make a an excellent choice. Its most notable feature is the temperature adjustable drawer, helps to keep food items such as vegetables and meat fresher longer. It also has a large water dispenser and a decent Ice machine that is fast.

Another great feature is the "Chill Drawer" that sits over the two crisper bins. This drawer allows you to redirect a portion of your fridge's cooling power into the area so that you can store foods which need extra attention. This feature can be adjusted by using an outside slider that is located inside the drawer. You can also use this to adjust the general cooling settings for the whole fridge, but I've noticed that adjusting the general settings tends produce better results than specific ones.

In my tests, the refrigerator's temperatures were fairly consistent across all areas of the refrigerator. The temperatures in the top and bottom of the fridge didn't stray very far from 38 degrees, and even the middle of the fridge was within one degree of 36. This is a pretty good performance, but it doesn't quite make it into the top ten in our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also connect this fridge to an intelligent thermometer to get more precise measurements of your fridge's temperature.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made of gray-bodied stainless with a "smudge proof" finish. It wards off streaks and fingerprints better than other stainless steel finishes I've tried.
